Refund policy
We give you 30 days from delivery to send anything back if it doesn't earn its space. Quick summary below, full details further down.
Eligibility
To be returnable, your item must be:
- ✓Unused and in the same condition you received it
- ✓In its original packaging
- ✓Accompanied by your order number
How to start a return
Email hello@cabinhabit.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a brief reason. We'll reply within 1–2 business days with the return address and instructions.
Don't post anything back without contacting us first — returns sent without a confirmed address can't be processed.
Return shipping
You cover return postage for change-of-mind returns. If the item arrived damaged, faulty, or wrong, we cover it (see below).
Damaged, faulty, or wrong items
Inspect your order when it arrives. If something's damaged, broken, or wrong, email hello@cabinhabit.com within 7 days with a photo and your order number. We'll either:
- ✓Send a replacement at no cost, or
- ✓Refund you in full
In most cases, you won't need to post anything back — we'll handle it on our end.
Bundles ship separately
Items in a bundle may arrive in separate packages from different suppliers. This is normal — you'll get a tracking number for each piece as it dispatches.
If part of your bundle is damaged, faulty, or missing after all tracking shows delivered, the same return policy applies — email us with a photo and we'll sort it.
Items we can't accept returns on
- ✕Essential oils once opened (hygiene)
- ✕Sale or clearance items
- ✕Items damaged by misuse, accidents, or normal wear after delivery
- ✕Gift cards
Exchanges
We don't do direct exchanges. Fastest way to get a different colour, size, or scent is to return the original (once approved) and place a new order separately.
European Union — 14-day cooling-off
If you're in the EU, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason, no justification needed. Item must be unused and in original packaging. Email hello@cabinhabit.com to start.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return — or approve a no-return refund for a damaged/faulty item — we'll process the refund within 5 business days to your original payment method.
Your bank typically takes another 3–10 business days to post the funds back to your account.
If 15 business days have passed since we confirmed your refund and nothing's arrived, email hello@cabinhabit.com and we'll chase it.
